Hellgate Condominiums

In the shadow of the magnificent Mt. Superior and Hellgate Cliffs* these comfortable Utah vacation homes can sleep 4 to 12 people and have: spacious floor plans, gas fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, a large community hot tub, one parking space per unit, coin laundry facilities, and many offer mountain views.  The complex also offers a ski shuttle to Alta and Snowbird during the winter months.

*The Hellgate Cliffs and Mt Superior offer incredible views of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The rates at Hellgate are slightly lower than other properties in the canyon area between Snowbird and Alta for a couple of reasons: it is not a ski-in/out property and the complex is located between two avalanche control gates. There are times (during or after a big storm and with major temperature changes) when those gates are closed for avalanche safety and control work – which affects getting into or out of Hellgate. During these times you may be asked to stay in your Condo or you may not be able to get back to your Condo if the gates have closed, this is called INTERLODGE. When the Marshal’s office declares an INTERLODGE (which can affect EVERY property in the canyon or just Hellgate) guests are required to stay in their units until the avalanche danger has been mitigated.  INTERLODGE only affects about 10% of our guests, but we want to make sure we are upfront about this higher rick at Hellgate before you book and we don’t want any guests disappointed if they have to stay inside until it is safe to be out in the canyon.INTERLODGE can be an annoyance at times and for your safety and convenience, we ask that you have 2 days worth of groceries in your unit.
